From sleepless nights to supporting yours – meet Amanda Jewson.

Hi, I’m Amanda. Registered Social Worker, psychotherapist, CBT-I provider, IFS-informed therapist… and most importantly, a human who’s been where you are.

My journey into this work didn’t start with textbooks or clinical placements – it started in 2018, in the thick of postpartum anxiety, after my second daughter was born. Panic attacks, hair loss, sleepless nights… I was a professional problem-solver who suddenly couldn’t solve what was happening inside my own body. The tools I had always used stopped working. I blamed myself.

But therapy changed that.

Through Internal Family Systems (IFS) work, I learned how to befriend and care for the parts of me that were trying so hard to keep me safe. I discovered what real rest could look like – and I wanted to bring that to others.

Fast forward to today:
I’m a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor of Education, a Bachelor of Social Work (2023), and a Master of Social Work (2025). I also hold certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and training in IFS. I specialize in helping adults – especially parents – navigate sleep challenges, mental health concerns, life transitions, and identity shifts.

Whether I’m working with a new parent facing postpartum anxiety or an exhausted professional battling chronic insomnia, my goal is always the same:
To create a space that feels safe, supportive, and solution-focused.

Therapy with me is warm, honest, and rooted in evidence. I’ll meet you where you are, help you figure out where you want to go, and walk with you until you get there.
